One of the biggest mistakes after buying a wonderful tradition system is allowing your filters to go bad and not keeping up with filter changes. Some systems allow you to have filters that can be washed or cleaned. These are going for a couple cycles but after that you would want to replace them. Having a water filtration system is one thing, but accurate filter changes or another. What’s the point in having an expensive water filtration system and benefiting from clean water when you allow your filters to become clogged and bacteria and sediment to pass through into your water. Make sure you look at the requirements for filter changes within your system and follow them religiously.
At the very least getting a 3 stage wonderful tradition system is ideal and common for home use. Businesses or larger corporations might consider a 5 or 6 stage reverse osmosis system. Most 3 stage systems come with three filters. The first filter is to eliminate any sediment for larger materials that may be coming through the water. These filters are usually a polypropylene or paper filter to catch larger objects. The next two filters can differ slightly, but most of them are a carbon filter. These carbon filters take out chlorine and other pesticides that maybe in the water. Three stage filters with a sediment filter and some sort of carbon filters are good start for successful water filtration system.
